Staying Active at Home | Crossroads YMCA Resource Gallery
We know there is a lot of uncertainty right now and so much of our routines have changed very unexpectedly. Like you, we are concerned about protecting the health and safety of the families who are members at Crossroads YMCA.
While we hope to reopen soon, our leadership is continually re-evaluating the situation. In an effort to still give you tools and tricks to connect with your family, we have created a series of resources from external partners, internal staff teams in: Youth & Family, Wellness/Fitness, Gymnastics/Dance/Cheer/Ninja, Active Older Adults, Cooking/Baking to name a few. Check back regularly for new resources.
Take care of yourselves and your communities. We hope that by taking these steps now to protect the health of our community, we can open more quickly and get back the Y soon.
We know that staying fit and active is our best way to build a strong immune system and stay healthy. Since you’re unable to make it to the Y right now, here is a free virtual class option to help keep you active and working out at home. There are even classes to engage the whole family!
Ninja Zone is PUMPED to offer kids a chance to move their bodies, even if they’re stuck at home! Offering daily ninja classes every weekday at 9:30 Central for all ages during our Move It Mornings, and classes designed for our under 3 ninjas and parent on Mon/Wed/Fri at 8:30 Central.
