**Grades based on 2020/2021 school grade. Southlake YMCA Specialty camps are for 3rd-9th grades.

Hoop It Up Basketball Camp 6/22-26

$160/$200 Register your little baller for a fun, interactive, skilled based week-long session focusing on shooting form, ball handling, defensive fundamentals, understanding the rules of the games and more. Each day campers will be taught basic basketball skills and instruction and then put them into practice in a game setting.

$160/$200 Sign up your little Picasso for a week of messy, imaginative, super creative fun while the learn basic art techniques. Campers will be allowed to create their own works of art using paint, chalk, pastels and other mediums to get their imagination soaring!

$205/$245 Students will learn skills on the beam, bars, trampoline, floor and vault. They will also get some skill based open gym time. We will be focusing on technique and learning progressions at each apparatus.

Camp Sessions 1 & 2 will build life size, usable pieces to incorporate into our Camp Ceremonies. Session 3 Explores city planning through brick building and problem solving.

Ninja Bootcamp 6/8-6/12

$205/$245 The students will run through various obstacle courses. They will be focusing on coordination, agility and free style movement. We will also work on their listening skills and building their confidence.
We've Got Spirit 6/15-19

$205/$245 Students will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including, stunts, jumps, motions, and tumbling. We will focus on technique using various different drills to better them in each aspect.
Inner Artist Studio 6/15-19 $175/$215 During Inner Artist Studio art camp we will explore a variety of media as we create individual projects and an abstract group mural. Artists will have a chance to develop sculpting and hand building techniques with oven bake clay; experiment with both watercolor and acrylic paints; and get crafty with one-of-a-kind room decor (think yarn wrapped letters, bedazzled picture frames, or felt garlands). Campers will learn new skills, have access to a variety of materials, and let their inner artist shine!
Made by Me 7/6-10 $225/$260 Students will explore basic culinary techniques. They will focus on knife skills, measuring, recipe reading, kitchen math, food safety and sanitation, and staying safe in the kitchen. Students will be making classic summer time recipes ranging from frozen treats to kid approved bbq favorites. At the end of the week students will make their very own cookbook to take home.
Stroke Mechanics 7/27-31 $205/$245 Advanced Stroke Development combines classroom and in water pool instruction to help your swimmer fine tune their abilities. Students should bring Swimsuit, towel and goggles to camp. Requirements for class: 50 yard swim without stopping, without floatation devices. Camp culminuates in a Mini Meet on Friday.
Sweet Treats 8/10-14 $225/$260 Students will explore basic culinary techniques. They will focus on knife skills, measuring, recipe reading, kitchen math, food safety and sanitation, and staying safe in the kitchen. Students will be making fun and silly sweet treats such as unicorn bread and edible slime. At the end of the week students will make their very own cookbook to take home.
