Private Special Needs Swim Lessons
This program is designed to provide an educational and safe environment for children with developmental differences. Water exercise has these benefits: improves flexibility, coordination, range of motion and regulation of breathing; strengthens, tones, and stretches the muscles without hurting vulnerable joints; low impact because it works with buoyancy, not gravity as on land; increases the child’s self-esteem because he/she is able to forget about his/her limitations while learning new behaviors, skills and learning excellent sensory play. The goals of the program is to increase the child’s self-esteem, strength, coordination and swim skills.
