Winning female and male from our Qualifying Championship will be invited to compete live on ESPN in the Viii Sports National Championships on August 2nd in Rock Hill, SC. Airfare, lodging, meals, and local transportation provided.

What is Viii Sports?

Viii Sports (pronounced "Vy" Sports) is an exciting challenge involving a race to execute a series of key skills across eight sports (2023 sports: golf, softball, tennis, basketball, football, soccer, strength and speed). All sports (except speed) have 3 balls in a defined area, and a target some distance away. Successfully getting a ball in the target gives the competitor 1, 2, or 3 points - depending on the distance and difficulty. There are 50 points possible, six for each of the eight sports, plus two bonus points for speed.

Viii Sports was developed by Triangle2, a long time partner to many Ys across the country, and implemented with a diverse group of pilot Ys in 2023.
